Unless you are high up in the company and you actually have a contract that includes a severance package with specific details, you are at the complete mercy of the company - at least in the US. Here employees have very few rights because it's "employment at will"

Here is my take:

Big mafia in pontiac (read left overs from run down accounts like GM etc)
-
Middle managers and senior managers are busy with bureaucracy and paperwork and are totally unaware of what is happening in technology - future of $25 billion pure play services company in these yahoos hands
-
EDS cronies are still here - they were bought by HPE for 13+ billion dollars - and they never had one good contract to boast off ( EDS lost all contracts in renewal to either IBM or HPE )

Hopefully CSC senior management takes control, brings in new blood and set some direction for this ocean liner

Most of delivery is now from APJ - hope they take control and steady the ship
Agree. Management is protected. Most are useless leftover management folks who can't get a real job on the outside. They have been there 20+ years and who put DXC in the position they are in now. They are from the accounts in the mid west areas that the CEO MN was on like, GM, and other auto contracts previously. The network is large like our government bureaucracy. It's hard to disassemble and maybe Indian management could. GOOD LUCK. As for other locations that management is from the inter connectivity kiss a-- good ole boy and girl network from granny particularly on the left coast. It still operates Said to see how management just disposes great folks and kiss the feet of the Indian subclass leaders to give impression DXC is fine and well. NEPOTISM is very real at DXC said to say.
