Darius Adamczyk Town Hall

Darius Adamczyk tried to make some sort of an analogy about how he purchases a $500 bottle of wine and it's value during the town hall on 4/21. The only thing I got out of that parable is that he is out of touch, an elitist and perhaps a bit c--ty. Someone who admittedly spends more on a single bottle of wine than most of his employees earn in a day; and then holds that up as a reasonable example of value, has no clue about who the employees are.

Yeah, my reaction was "$20? It's easy to get a good bottle for that!"

So now the target for our corporate culture is "collegial." Forget fair, equitable, or at all concerned for employee welfare. So long as we aren't rioting, all is well.

I remember about 4 years ago during yearly earnings discussion, Dave telling a "funny" story about shopping for Ferrari's in Manhattan with some of his other executives after a meeting. This was broadcast live from NJ in front of his staff there. Everyone in the audience laughed (butt kissers). No one where I was thought it was close to being funny.

I was wondering if anyone else was going to notice that too. That cracked me up. How crazy out of touch...
