Dumb question about why we don't have more diversity in top tiers. Response was dumb too about how this guy was in a meeting of all women the other day, isn't that great?! Is that their only qualification? Being a woman? Why is that not insulting to intelligent women and others? Btw, a room full of women is by definition not diverse, it's homogeneous.

That's ridiculous. Honeywell have binders full of women.
There's extreme discrimination and less opportunity for woman at Honeywell. Most men don't think women are qualified. I worked my way up to Principal Engineer but had to work 3X as hard as my male counterparts. There were roadblocks at every turn.
Yes, I was highly respected by upper management but there was always an undercurrent of men helping men at the lower levels and leaving woman out.

laughable and pathetic, but what else would we expect from this place? I am all FOR women and minorities who are QUALIFIED to rise to whatever level they can, but NOT just hitting quotas to fend off the radicals, i.e., reverse discrimination

I thought that was awkward and you could tell he was grasping st straws to show how great they've done and in the future.
The only thing I heard was we better do better, meet higher oh yes and be faster at everything we do. I never heard once how they intend to meet these now monthly goals.
