MEDICAL INSURANCE WHEN RETIRING

From what I just learned a few weeks ago , is when you retire Honeywell has to pay your medical insurance for the 1st six months. They WILL NOT tell you this , you need to ask them for it. I know of someone who retired and didnt ask but learned shortly after and called benifits and got it . There also might be a box to check when retiring on line. I havent looked yet. Will be though in a few weeks. 37 + yrs is about enough

The health insurance coverage is until the end of the month in which you retire. So, if you can retire in the first few days of the month. If you retire near the end of the month your coverage stops within a matter of days.

Hope you take a hard look at yourself and realize how pathetic you made yourself look by posting garbage you didn't take 5 seconds to research on your own. I speak for many readers and most likely your team by saying "can't wait for your retirement."

I doubt this very much. The only way to get six months of medical insurance is to get RiFd after 26+ years of service to qualify for severance, but then you have to wait six months to draw your pension.

Never heard this I've ask for my numbers for retirement and they asked me if I wanted COBRA at a price if 1,070/mo for wife and I.

I'll ask but again I've not heard them paying for 6 mos
