Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Unannounced changes in salary exempt employee's vacation. They are up to their normal deceptive practices.

I just wanted to let any current or aspiring Honeywell engineers know that they are claiming you get unlimited vacation this year, but what their not telling you is it depends on whether or not your manager likes you. It will be based off your review is and we all know managers have their favorites and they have quotas of how many people they can give good reviews to.

Unlimited Vacation. Really? Another tactic to not pay for your vacation when they RIF you.

The loser on here is a company troll, and that is how they get when they have no real argument. Vote said the same thing two years ago when he announced no merit increases and people complained openly on one of his town hall meetings, he said "it was a measure to save jobs, so be thankful you have a job" and then he stopped having the calls to explain to folks the RIFs and furloughs that followed.

Bad enough that jobs are outsourced to India. Now they are importing the ever popular 'Caste' system.

The perceived stars (politically adept) get the goodies and the rest get to suffer morale problems connected to their bad treatment. What a way to motivate the workforce ... Not. Stupid management.

What did OP say that isn't true? I would suggest you cool it off and stop using this board for insulting people. You like your job, good for you, stop wasting Honeywell's time posting on here, back to work.
