Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Leadership, I hope you're reading these posts

You cannot be proud of what's going on and your involvement in destroying people's dreams and lives non the less of what you've done to what was a great company.

People that's given their all, worked countless overtime hours to line the pockets of the ALT and share holders of which I'm one.

How can you leadership type stand by and smile while asking us to stand by you. Why should we? What have you as a group of leaders done for the worker?????? NOTHING, nothing at all! How can you attend those meetings and not say a word or do anything that's right?

You are a lousy leader, supervisor, manager, VP, and if a president . You are evil and will get yours at the end.

@1dyz. Big ditto. Same thing happened to me. 19 years in block 1-2. Without any warning whatsoever was thrown on PIP. Made up reasons. I went to HR, they couldn't care less. Their response was they followed what my manager said even tho I had proof it was lies. They needed a scapegoat and- I was told- it was my 'turn'. Are you effing kidding me?

Yeah that's how Honeywell works. I'm still here. Not sure why. 20 years now

Want to be RIFd but not selected. I realize it's because they can screw me over way better by changing the pension, forcing me out, no severance, no unemployment.

S---s

But I'm just one of many in this huge sinking ship.

Peace out ✌️

It takes a special, strange sort of person to be comfortable as a HON manager. Several years ago, out of the blue, the dept director threw me in the elbow ... with a huge grin on his face. He then dismissively said I could use the reply space on the employee review bomb he just dropped on me ...

to "vent". I had never been cautioned for poor performance or been given a bad review. Don't feel sorry for these managers -- they've made their deal with the devil. It's no surprise that HON has been rated very harshly for their total lack of empathy towards employees. I got a kick out of the email I got following this kick in the nutz. It ended with "I hope you realize the seriousness of your situation." I hope the world realizes the depravity of HON management, going all the way to the top, of course.

If you've ever been in a management position in this company, you'd realize how much burden they put on those levels. I'm saying manager level - not director and above, please understand. The s*** rolls downhill to the manager level and they are purposely given more burden than the higher levels (think - if you are having an issue with your job, are you allowed to go directly to HR? NO - "go to your manager"), Then, they are also overburdened with time consuming activities to "mentor" them into leadership positions and force-fed the rhetoric that drives the Honeyhell culture. It's a cult. The middle management give in because they've been beaten into submission. It's a classic mind-control technique used by all the cults. Someone needs to "snap them out of it", but I wouldn't presume to know how without major rehabilitation.

Totally agree. Going to all their self serving clown halls is a complete waste of time too. I don't work a single second of overtime. There is no reward now, and there is no reward in the future; I'll still get RIFd just the same. So, I just come in and do the bare minimum while waiting for my turn in one of the upcoming 9 RIFs this year. I have run out of fcks to give.

It's hard to imagine anyone in management or at any level of leadership to be able to go home to their wife and kids and be able to smile and tell them what a great day they had today.

They will get theirs if not now later in life

I don't understand people that work overtime unless work requires to once in a while to meet deadlines. There's no reward to do so and there never will be one. Working unpaid overtime all the time is just stupid.
