2017 RIF Round 2 - Scheduled for Next Week?

Has anyone else heard rumors that identify next week (Jan 11) as round 2 of the Jan 2017 RIFs? I understand that though not all, a majority of the RIFs this round were volunteers.

I think tier 5 and tier 4 are being hit again starting the 9th with more involuntary. Directors are making appointments with managers they have no business relationships with. Time will tell.

Makes some sense, as HR is laying traps to ambush some of the people that are not in this week.

Torrance only had retirements and VRIF's last week... so maybe the involuntary RIF's will be next week? No one is saying "that's it"

All the furloughs, PIPs and RIFs are the red flags of a ship that is taking on a lot of water.

We lost 1/4 of our group and were told no more were leaving (this round). Got the "can't predict the future" speech with that announcement, though.
