Our group has decided to use a quality checklist to grade our work starting 2017. The quality check will be performed by our brown nosing peers and not our managers or any quality unit. We wouldn't have an issue with this if it wasn't being use to score our performance which directly impacts our performance reviews. I spoke to few of my peers and they're being docked for stuff that is "one man's opinion" and not a part of any quality standards. Should we escalate it?

Yeah Quality Control - more like keep our high paying senior management jobs control and get rid of those we despise below us control. How can any kind of "subjective" quality be worth anything?
Seriously! It's called quality control and direct management can be bias and not repot accurate results. All huge corporations do this. Its smart!! It ensures proper procedures are followed and quality in a product and/or process is maintained. You all wouldn't be so worried if you did your work accurately.
Yet, you're still trolling this website. Why is that, @LRYjEhm-1pgd?
Its been 6 years since I was employed at that bank, thank god its being flushed down the sh--ter
Seems to be an inherent problem at this bank. It's sad when your manager can't give you an adequate assessment but is totally subjected to some kind of sad bias that he has and which is projected down to his employees.
Start looking for a new job. It's a sign of incompetent management.
