Layoffs are still going on.............just been laid off myself after 15 years in the company
SLB management said no more layoff several times since the downturn started, but of course layoff continued. It's very simple. If this company keeps losing money, yes, there will be more layoffs. What did you see on Q4 earnings report? Did the company make money? In addition, why do I have to believe the same management who kept lying for over 2 years?
Headcount difference between December and February is in a low 100 number. This looks to be no layoffs and just normal attrition. Small gains in San Antonio, Midland, and very very slight in Oklahoma. Expect some layoffs and transfers from Gulf of Mexico shortly with loss of Chevron work.
