3 SNP dialer teams dismantled and coaches let go. Then our teams were then divided and placed with 3 other existing teams to make larger teams. So yeah business decisions, but as the associate to lose your Coach & teammates the same day with NO notice is demoralizing. We may not be layed off yet but I am sure our day is down the road. For those of us moved we now have to adjust to existing teams and expect our performances to not be effected at ALL. The All associate call should have specifically cited these actions in order to remove the sting. And coach leaving with NO goodbye is just COLD!

If there is something I have learned through this whole ordeal ( and thread) is that the associates who have been effected and those who are not but are not certain when they will be in case of cuts know how to live the initial humana values by "thriving together" and are there for each other. After reading all of this posts/comments I believe that we all have the same ideas on the company and if anything they showed us the true mean of their idea of using "thriving together" I hope nothing but the best for everyone
Came to Humana and all this talk about teams and team work. Then teams split up and moved about, then talk again about teams and team work, split up again, moved around. Finally things settled down a bit and then readjusted. Never lost any one by lay off and was told won't happen. We are a big growing company with a bright future. Encouraged us to grow, be healthy, be happy, be the best you can be. Humana loves you and loves what you do for the company. Now its focus is on the next money making round going to a different venue. They are going to focus putting money into managing MD businesses and providing services to hospitals and private practices. My doctor told me about it in my home town, said they approached the board and they turned it down. Too much control by an insurance company he said. wow.. yeah... I let them do that to me too. Gave my all. Wasn't enough. You can't shove things down people's throats and expect them to be happy. You can't make people pick up the phone, you can't force them to participate. Top management gets bonuses off the backs of the workers and now what has happened to the workers?
Heard about it via personal text from another. Yeah, coaches let go, appears that it is mostly management with some others. SNP, CHE, LTIH, Transitions. Merger did not go through and then this. Not what we expected. Will there be more? I am sure there will be.. take care of this bunch then another round in April. People who have left GOOD jobs to come to this company with promises of long lived employment. People who Moved, people who left their state, people who went on and furthered themselves in education and immersed themselves to walk the walk, talk the talk now left on the doorstep with a cold unknown future. Separation pay good if you have been there longer than 2 years, but now what?
