Won't be pretty, but at least it's a start. Bottom line is that the sale of CC won't eliminate all of the debt, but at sale at ~$4B would reduce the interest payments by over 75% (assuming they use the proceeds reduce the debt). So if they're paying ~$350 million per year now, after the sale, they'd be paying closer to $80 million. The networking and UC business - properly structured - could easily support that debt load as a standalone company. With continued growth, the networking business could be potentially sold at a later date for enough pay off the debt. Prediction: CC is sold and the remaining business remains as a separate company. It will be dramatically reduced in size (massive layoffs in UC) and continue on until a buyer can be found for the right price.

Another b---s--- post
But the post about Galway is correct! The latest cutting edge stuff in CC is built out of Galway. If and when the CC business is sold, Galway will have a significant contribution in it.

...and there is the FUD from the competition. What do you know? "There is no sale. There is only one thing and confirmed, Bankruptcy, with massive layoffs across Europe and the USA." Would love to find out who you are and expose you as the 'twat' you really are
your mouth should get filled with sugar
I dont have any proofs but i did over hear some ppl managers talking about distribution in their teams and who was going where - so i am thinking cc might be sold but again who knows - it was great while it lasted - having worked with a few companies in same area i really love working in Avaya - however we do have tough times ahead
