A Christmas Carol with Cote

Sad to say but all I can think of is Dave Cote as Scrooge. His search for that ever higher stock price at the expense of employees while grabbing more options and millions in salary seem similar. It is hard to wish him well. I remember the AiResearch Christmas parties I went to as a kid with the wonderful presents. I remember the ones I took my kids to. There were good times for the company and hard times but the leaders back then never forgot the employees and always shared.

Well Dave, as hard as it is, Have a Merry Christmas and I hope you watch A Christmas Carol before it's too late for you.

I like to think of cote as the boss on Christmas Vacation, without the decency to enroll us for the jelly of the month club (the gift that keeps on giving)

I like to picture the ALT as the 'wet bandits' from home alone. They seem incompetent and unable to perform the simple task of stealing from their employees without stumbling over themselves in comical failure.

And finally, I like to think of the rank and file as the rented mule from a nativity scene. It doesn't look like a great job, yet somehow we are tolerant of spending the day hanging out sh--ting ourselves.

He is supposed to retire in March 2017. But he will remain on as a consultant or some equivalent for a year, so he can continue to use company benefits (company jet, etc.)

When is he supposed to step down?
