Are these STIP payments a precursor to the inevitable mass layoffs around the corner?

I got 45% of monthly slary as STIP, so did most of my colleagues. KK did send internal mail today that capital structure is happening, but no specifics. Just usual paragraph.

STIP (or AIP) % is based on your grade. There's a table with the details on The Source.

STIP is the bonus paid annually to employees working for support. Used to be pretty good, but then the EC changed the terms to a performance based STIP that was pretty much impossible to attain. It was later changed to be more achievable and people started to get paid.

A single months compensation payout in Sales usually blows the socks off STIP.
