Does anyone know if there will be any layoffs in Canada? I haven't heard anything myself, but I've just started following this thread.

Celestica is taking over Tucson plant. How did this play out in Toronto. People wondering how many sites will fall to Celestica. Please encourage other folks to follow this blog.
Aerospace Toronto will start RIF in week starting from 14th Nov 2016 and onward. ......... Volunteer application dead line was 1st Nov 2016. need 2 weeks (max ( for process ) and to get manager approval (it can be decided in a day ) or to find another candidate less closer to manager!!!
I'm in HBT in Canada, but I haven't heard anything.
I don't know about Canada, but at least in HBT, there was a third round on November 1st (yes, I was one of them!)
They send a list of job titles and ages to all "affected employees" to prove something about age discrimination I assume. It looks like HBT laid-off about 120 people cumulatively in three phases on Sept 1, Sept 29, and Nov 3. That doesn't speak to SPS, Aero, or PMT.
