The rumor coming out of Deer Valley today is that there will be no severance pay in 2017. Anybody hear this too?

Honeywell doesn't pay suppliers. What makes anyone think that Honeywell will pay the dispensible deplorables that they s-can? Cote would rather pay the lawyers than the peons. Coye's next move will involve shooting peasants and exclaiming, "It's good to be king!" ala History of The World Part I.
This is a rumor on this board and passed on to the troops and not substantiated anywhere. The policy hasn't been changed but could be changed in the future. Will not impact current RIF actions.
The only way they can avoid severance pay is to sever our heads first. I won't put it past them though!
Best answered In the words of one great psychopath "WRONG".
They can't change the rules on the current RIF because it clearly stated in Mahoneys email that those RIFd during this effort will receive the and benefits as those in previous RIFs. Future RIFs, anything goes to whatever they change the policy to.
If they eliminated severance entirely they would be buried in lawsuits. Severance is the bribe they pay to get you to sign the RIF papers.
Not heard that. I checked yesterday and it's still 26 weeks max. Rumor has the max st 13 weeks in 2017 but it hadn't changed yet.
