Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Peltz's typical playbook is to push companies to increase their stock price by cutting costs or breaking up. Honeywell doesn't fit that mold.

Don't be so sure Bloomberg News... that is exactly our mold.

Does not fit his mold because Dave and his hatchet men are doing a text book job of s---ing the businesses dry, no outside help needed. Peltz needs to find a management that has some loyalty to the employees, lots more potential for profitable misery.

After the failed acquisition of UTC, I think the company has positioned itself to spin off or sell pieces of the business. The ACS restructure to create SPS and HBT was the first step. I believe that you will see parts of the HBT business sold off in 2017 and SPS (where Darius came from) will continue to do acquisitions. I think AERO will also see some divestitures in 2017 as well. I think Honeywell fits Peltz's playbook to a T!!
