Stupid idea. Consumers, not CEOs, will cover the tax (just as they cover all taxes) by paying an extra penny for each product they buy. Corporate taxes are a gimmick used by politicians to make envious, low information people believe the rich are paying higher taxes. The ignorance/stupidity of the American public is embarrassing.
i applaud Portland and hope it does spread like wildfire. The huge pay disparity between some of these ceos and the ones who make them successful is sickening. Greed and power driven, yet eventually we all end up in the same predicament. Dead. You can't take it with you and in the end, it's the memories you leave behind that matter. Interesting too that Honeywell is actually named in the article.
