Annual January Honeywell LEADERSHIP Fiesta in Dana Point, CA

With all the RIFs, Furloughs, and cost cutting etc... I wonder if the lavish Corporate Leadership fiesta held annually in Dana Point CA will still be on schedule..... a nice display of greed and dont care with the employees' lack of benefits mentality of the ALT.... This fiesta is no joke - complete with golfing, biking, you name it parties and grand prize of a SUV lavishly and publicly displayed at the Saint Regis Hotel, a freaking 5-star hotel... guess where all the frozen benefits and salary raises go!!!

The Monarch Beach Golf Links is closed to the public on Saturday, January 7, 2017 - so that must be the day Honeywell Senior Leadership is playing golf. Need to get a close up views of the leaders cavorting, brown nosing and rubbing elbows?

Is DC exempted from the mandatory wellness screening? I wonder what his BMI is?

That is a good point, Cote is about 350 lbs

Now I know some of these comments are pure fiction. Anyone putting Cote and the word gym in the same sentence are crazy. Have you seen that fat blowhard? If he got within a mile of a gym, he would croak.

Maybe he sends in a fat look alike and that is why you are not allowed to look at him, because you will notice it is not really him.

I work at Morris plains. If you pass Dave in the hallway he will always say Hi. I don't belong to the gym there. But from what I hear he does talk to people. You can say hi and he will respond. But I do feel the uncertainty of my future. Just hanging on.

I like the picket idea at the resort they're staying at. Come on Torrance. Let's do this!

He wouldn't come to DV to speak unless they added AC capacity so he wouldn't have to be over 68 degrees.

They move this meeting every few years. Has anyone confirmed that it will be at Dana Point this year? I'm sure DC would love to have a big send off from lots of his current and former employees.

It's true you can't talk or look at Cote while he's at the gym. MP only has the gym because of him

Have you seen the man sweat when he is just doing and interview and not doing any physical activity? I'm sure people can't talk to him in the gym because it would be way too difficult for him to respond if he is exerting himself. I'm sure it has nothing to do with not wanting to speak to his minions :-)

I head when DC is in the gym located on Honeywell property (and all Honewell sites don't have gyms) no one is allowed to speak to him, not even an hello, good day, how are you doing, nothing. That is so disrespectful of people you represent.

It usually starts the first Sunday after New Year's day, which this year would be January 7th and the final day will be the day of Dave's town hall. I've heard that the setup is pretty lavish for the first couple of days and then they "tone it down" before they bring in employees for the town hall meeting so that it doesn't look like they are having a big luxurious party for the leaders of the business at the expense of the employees.

lots of private planes are blocked and you can't track them - used to be able to see some n922h flight history on planefinder.net but that is now blocked

I think it would be appropriate to take a few vacation days and a group stand on the sidewalk and protest. There are 700 peeps just an hour up the road in Torrance, and thousands more only 6 hrs away in PHX.

I would be shocked if it is not only held, but it will be bigger and more expensive than past years since this will be Dave's final senior leadership meeting and all of the people there that he made multi-millionaires will want to send him off in grand style. My guess is the budget for this year's meeting will be the highest in company history...they just may have to sacrifice a few more employees to pay for it.

He can't even carry his own bags off of the company jet, but instead gets a Honeywell a/c mechanic to go onboard to carry them off while he walks off of it empty handed and into the town car waiting for him. Isn't that pathetic? What a little man he must be.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. The jet earmarked for Cote to use most of the time (tail N922H) is regularly in some areas that don't have Honeywell sites. Such as, Cabo San Lucas (Mexico), West Palm Beach (FL), some small area in Montana whose name escapes me, etc. There is an article I found online about him not only using the company jet to fly to Africa to hunt white rhino (which are endangered) but he also used a company "assistant" to help him import the animal (or it's contents) back to the US, so he could make an ash tray and an ice box from it's ivory.

While even these activities may actually be allowed and legal under company policy (which by the way entitles him to 1 extra year of access to the jet after he steps down in March '17), where are the ethics watchdogs on this? He could make some cut backs here to help the company in "these tough economic times" as he likes to say, but of course he doesn't seem to care one bit about that.

I'm all for going public on this but not sure at all how to expose it the most effective way.
