Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Another site

bites the dust. sorry Tucson. honeywell is moving more work. Watch out ISC, operate in place is temporary and is not meant for for any task to be taken on my Celestica . honeyhell has to get all that offload and outsourcing before that 35% tax starts. Is that why the furlough and RIF paused?

Is Celestica taking over just the ISC part or even engineering?

Penang, Olathe, and Albequerque next. Celestca will only need to stay there for two years and then they can move it to Asia. This way Honeysmell looks like they did no harm and Trump wont be after their D&S contracts.....

Celestica 3rd party company is taking over Tucson, exactly the same as the Toronto take over.

Has it been officially announced? Will it be similar to what happened in Toronto?

Not old news. Officially happened today. Vp's actually came down from Phx. For various engineering groups and ISC. Of course, we only have about 500 emplyees on the site. Engineering including test equipment no longer designs anything here. Just another step in getting out of design and manufacturing in the US.
