You implement 10% pay cuts.....all people are going to do is sit around in their cubicals and do 20% less work to account for it, which only hurts the companies numbers worse.

The irritating part for me is I know two people who have gotten a new job within HON and they both got 9% increases for the promotion. How do they give such big increases with all the cutting going on?
Rumor has it that they are considering either a furlough in Q12017 or a 10% paycut. If it is the paycut you would get one day off every other week....unless you are exempt...there is no protection for exempts...
Pay cuts will depend on how many throats they cut first. But greed and recent moves suggest that they will do both, and more....rifs, furlough salary freeze/cuts, benefits reductions, wfh, etc. etc. Nasty!
raise whats that >????????
What morale? It's already gone.
This will be the dumbest thing they can do. It will kill morale and no one will do sh--.
Furlough x 1 = 2%
My average raise = 3%
The way I see it, they cut my pay 5% last year. Every furlough just increases that.
Not including the compounding loss of no raise ....
Rumor - not confirmed
Is the pay cut of 10% implemented already or will it happen next year? Or, is this not finalized?
