Simple logic and common sense indicates that the better you treat your employees the more loyal, dedicated and productive they become in return, and the worse you treat them... well, you get Honeywell.

I know right? He's like an apartment landlord that hires an arsonist to burn his building down so that he can collect the insurance money. Screw the tenants!

Dave is leaving. Like many greedy CEOs he only cares about short term and his pockets. It is disgusting what he has done to a once great company.
