Thanks for the replies. Looks like more of the same or worse for us. Hopefully aero gets sold soon and we can escape from the money grubbing buffoons.

Nothing good for us, guaranteed.
I heard more of the same.
He has had shlt spewing from his mouth during all the years I've known him.
I agree with 1RFA. So far hes been a 1st class scumbag just like his scumbag mentor. He will continue to drive all the life out of the company until it gets sold or dismantled. Expect cost cutting will only get more sever once he takes over.
I worked with him when he started at Honeywell after his company was acquired. He makes Dave look like a "people person" when he interacts with employees. Shortly after he joined the company he was the first one to bring up furloughs in our business as a way to improve our numbers for the quarter. Dave took him under his wing almost immediately and was his official mentor, so he has been groomed for this role for several years. The company culture under his leadership will continue down the same path, but I believe that RIF's, furloughs and continued cost cutting will only increase.
Old boss same as the new boss... Don't get fooled again... Making numbers on the backs of the workers? He should have pushed back and said I won't do it... I pushed back and got fired for the effort...
Expect the expected! New CEOs always use layoffs to deceive and impress the markets with bogus numbers. And since companies aren’t smart enough, or intelligent enough, to appreciate that you get more out of people the nicer you treat them, they must hire obnoxious leaders and managers who think likewise.
At PMT he furloughed folks to make his numbers and overshot, getting praise from DC for exceeding his numbers. Out of our pocket, into theirs.
Any new boss is always worse than the old boss. Just ask any legacy Honeywellers.
Hopefully I am gone to a better company by the time this new clown takes over.
My guess is more furloughs, RIFs, benefit reduction and a contest between him and Dave to see who can ruin the most lives. It's not going to get better at HON. Not now, not ever. This is the new normal at HON.
There's a recent town hall recording on the main hon site where he is in Bangalore saying it makes no sense to have work done in the US.
I've interacted with him several times and I'll put it bluntly: as bad as you think Cote is, Darius is worse. His playbook has been to squeeze every last drop of blood out of every business to get short term results then move on, leaving the next guy to clean up his mess. He won't have that luxury as CEO. It's going to be a brutal couple of years while he does everything he can to make the numbers, then he'll run out of tricks. Hopefully sooner than later.
Well when he was in charge of PMT it wasn't pretty and guess be same when he take over as CEO from Dave the are peas in a POD probably expect more RIFs???????
He doesn't say hello to anyone passing in the hallway
Have some friends at Bendix - apparently he was so demotivational with the group there that their president had to have a follow on sit down to try to fix it. Can't remember any of the specifics but pretty cringe worthy from what I remember.
