so someone posted a comment on the original Mockingjay's question to DC - you can see it on the replay video site - "The answer was completely inadequate. It: 1) threatened retaliation for questioning leadership; 2) made light of our concerns as employees on issues that are having a very real and tangible effect on morale and therefore productivity - not good for business; 3) did not address the reality that collaborating with our teams by "bumping into" them in the cafeteria is unrealistic because we all work with global teams that are NOT co-located; 4) had faulty logic by asserting that money is best managed by the employee, but somehow time is best managed by the company; and 5) by its dismissiveness, had the effect of further eroding morale and trust n our leadership - a total communication and leadership fail.

The company is being run just like Murray Humphreys from the Chicago "Outfit". Corporate Amerika merged with what was left of the real mob in the early 1980s & legitimized the mob's way of running business. That is the way most corporations are run now. Especially companies whose CEO is also the Chairman. Hmmm...
I'm not sure I agree with your dictator comparison. COTE and his regime is more like national socialism than a Bolshivek. I do see the similarity in that both have destroyed millions of lives like Cote, but like Hitler, Cote has also targeted a specific race for genocidal elimination, mainly WFH people.
The company sounds like it's being run by Stalin.
