Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Where can I find information about severance and who is eligible?

The RIF email contained a link to the Honeywell policy on the topic, but I could not find information on severance. I have also searched internal documents and found no further information. Is Honeywell severance a standard package? Does improve with time served? Do you need a minimum amount of time at Honeywell to be eligible for severance?

In Canada there is a formula that considers years worked, your age, and your band. The maximum is 77 weeks. So, for me for instance, if I was laid off tomorrow, I'd get 50 weeks, almost a year.

Use the intranet Google box to search for it, try search term "severance plan".

Not sure where I found it...but if I recall correctly...

It is a week of severance for every year worked UP TO 26 weeks of pay and a minimum of 4 weeks payed.

So 4-26 weeks of pay.
