Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Why is Honeywell Laying Off?

Honeywell no longer wins.

Rockewell just got the displays for the 777x.

To last responder: if you enjoy engineering and Rockwell has a position for you AND has greater potential as a company, you've got nothing to lose. I would do some research also if I were you, but I would even take that if it meant better treatment.

I don't understand how Honeywell thinks when treating their employees the way they currently are; as a recent college graduate and new-hire, I've heard and seen so much crud from this place already... they won't be able to keep me long here because of it. Good for starting off, though (money-wise).

No wonder. Got rif last week, already got an offer from Rockwell at Iowa.

So how is Rockwell management? Should I take the offer?

Honeywell Aerospace competitors are having a field day taking market share from Honeywell. In fact most Honeywell Aerospace competitors don't even rank Honeywell in the top five to beat...

Boeing is smart and they're tired of the honeyhell bullshite. Old products with terrible support and even worse delivery schedules. Our stuff is usually late in arriving (must be all that efficiency Dave brags about) and when there is a problem you can guarantee there won't be any parts or units in stock thanks to Dave's policy of not stocking any parts. Yes, we all knew it was just a matter of time before the OEMs tired of honeyhell's anti customer support in favor of obscene profits business model and finally, here we are. I would suspect this is only the beginning; hon will continue to lose new contracts to our competitors and so the RIFs, furloughs and money grab will continue. Great job dave, you have really turned this place around for the worse. Now your "sacrifice everything for the stock price" strategy is finally coming to a crashing close. I'm going to sit back, and watch the entire AERO division fall apart and go bankrupt.
