I loved my job also but when I was laid off last year I was treated with no respect from the company or the union I had no representation from union I had nearly 32 years service the company could alway depend on me to be there if there was ever a job that needed to be done it didn't matter what day of week or what time if the day I was always there to do my job. But when I was laid off I was treated like a bad employee or even a criminal. I miss my job with all of my heart but I will always remember how I was treated when I left.

Don't worry bad decisions and poor management have lead you to where this company is. The lack of selling new products and only implementing certain products in hand picked areas have resulted in customers leaving in groves.
The biggest laugh is Glenn post will still get a large bonus for saving money on the backs of the people how make him moneyour. Great job you should be proud of yourself always doing this layoff/surplus at the holidays.
Seems they've come right out and targeted the older workers, preferring the newly graduated and foreign workers. Isn't this against US labor anti-discrimination laws? How do they get away with it?
Several hundred CTL employees were rebadged to IBM the last couple of years.
IBM reduced their severance pay to 30 days in January 2016.
Then forced them to train their offshore replacements before laying them off.
Still plenty of H1Bs working at CTL, though.
Thanks CenturyLink.
Good for you for getting out. Hope it turns out for the best.
Sorry to hear this
I have a similar experience
I was laid off in 2014
