As a former contractor in Olathe, KS I really feel for all Honeywell employees just given the axe as well as staying on for further water-boarding through the corporate "monkey-tree".
My last term at Honeywell it became apparent there wasn't much expertise anywhere anymore except the few older dedicated employees who were all doing the work of 2-3 people under constant stress. Empty cube farms everywhere. Even more disturbing is the use of foreign Honeywell salary employees who are flown in for 4-6 month projects that an American could very well be doing. They pay them to their bank account in their home country at that cheap salary. They get free hotel & daily per-diem then fly them back, all likely written off on their taxes as "expenses". So guess who pays for that? The American taxpayers who actually pay taxes (lower 99s) are subsidizing foreigners to take American jobs at multi-nat'l companies who are mostly "welfare queens".
Meanwhile Dave Cote gets awards for being such a genius. And the Obama admin loves & plays golf with people like him and Jeff Immelt. Just like the days of Eisenhower.
You can bet that the skids are greased for the TPP and other trade agreements to go through because that is the final phase of the Great Theft. Guess who the biggest proponents are?
