Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Wake up Honeywell leadership!

People close to production are being let go while directors with no direct reports working from home , doing whatever, still have their jobs. There are a lot of directors at Honeywell that do nothing other than telling different factories what they should be doing and constantly harassing them for status..... If these high paid roles were eliminated there would be big savings and less distractions for the people doing the real work..... Wake up leadership and understand what is really happening in the organization !!

I agree with you. Too many directors and supervisors and high salaries workers who working only

maximum 2 hours per day, and that's thanks Mr Mahoney and his co, here must honeywell do some thing

to reduce the honeywell employees by changing the system what we have, for instance in our company we have 100 mechanic and 200 extra un direct employees , you can see for every mechanic there are 2 extra high salaries employee.

There is no "waking up". This is their plan/design.

Anybody who physically gets a paycheck from Honeywell is seen as a blut su*ker and is less money out of executive bonuses.

The many unproductive managers/supervisors who are incapable of doing real work, justify their existence by creating new counter-productive tasks on a daily basis to slow down the productive people. And upper management cannot recognize that because they are not smart enough and are doing the same thing. How many of us feel that we can be more productive without our immediate, inexperienced, level manager constantly interfering with our work and pretending like they know to do our work better than we can......put your hands up! Of course, by now, we are all aiming to lower our productivity levels. After all 'Gote' did say that we have become too efficient and that is what's driving the layoffs, furlough, salary/benefits freeze/cuts. Guess what my goals and objectives are?

Honeywell can kick butt by trading all the layers in for more ground floor doers.....

Finally got to a point where I am too busy giving status to make anything happen, oh god and did you try this and did you try that. Why don't these idiots escalate themselves or call the PM that is competing for the same limited resource. Anything but ask every hour "did it ship yet" and "What is the tracking #"

And I mean 4 different meetings and each an hour long.

I agree with that. I had at least 4 people outside of my plant wanting a slide pack and hour long phone meeting every week. Ridiculous - this was really disruptive to real work.
