I am a 36 year Aero employee, started at Engines, first group of employees to move to Garrett Pneumatic Systems Div. (GPSD), from Garrett to Allied Signal now Honeywell, lived through the GE fiasco.
I was even laid off myself and returned 3 mos. later in 1983. There is such a feeling of desperation now. Leaders not talking to employees, actions taken with no communication. It's sinister in many ways. Cote sells 1.3 Mil shares of his own stock (Yahoo Financial), New leadership coming in soon and Cote stepping down. Are we getting ready to sell of businesses? It's like we're all rats on a sinking ship. I've been through this before but never like this.
If you're a Coll. Grad. don't come here right now, look elsewhere. I say that because we're bringing on newly graduated students next year, they've been hired. Bad times at Hon.
