Reviewing the job titles on the casualty lists and inferring that the vast majority are people who actually do things versus those just passing along edicts from on high or keeping score on meeting metrics that are irrelevant to anyone except Wall St. But of course, that is the whole point - Cote keeps promising Wall St. improved profit margins despite flat sales, and few on his staff know how to do that intelligently since they either don't know the smart way to do it or aren't allowed to.

No. You are wrong. Cote has an educational background in Business Administration. The ruthless. I never heard of anyone with a liberal arts degree "building airlplanes".

Agreed, all those that know how to make the product, are gone or leaving. Honeywell hires liberal arts degrees from schools that nobody ever heard of, to make turbine engines! What could go wrong with that model !
