Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

And not a single exec impacted

No big surprise but not a single vp director or otherwise exec position has been eliminated. Don't the failures that result in layoffs and furloughs start there. I'm confused. Honeywell seems very top heavy.

Excellent ISC Sr. Director and Director for Procurement let go, no doubt because they tried to put some commonsense into Madsen's edicts.

I know personally know there are many many VP's with zero direct reports. Individuals in those positions should be among the first to be let go, or at a minimum, de-banded, salaries and MIP reduced, and absorbed into other organizations. They have been riding this horse for far too long.

How many multi-site directors or director level op-exs, support staff have been let go? There is quite a few in the space division, way too top heavy!

Typical US Aero leadership...6 of 8 levels of management are director/VP/Executives. You'd think a graduate of Harvard Business School’s highly regarded Program for Management Development would figure this is top heavy org...like Fred Flintstone ordering ribs.

1 Diamond Dave

2 Timmy M

3 Mikey M (BTW did a great job ruining D&S-he got rid of Sales folks, now we have a sales problem)

4 Mike E

5 AMOC/AMS or AEOC VP

6 Site Director

7 Manager

8 Supervisor

9 Hourly

I know at least 1 site lead a 1 Director was eliminated today. The reality is this, software is the future and CCA, Engines, Brakes, Gears, Sensors, APU, Wheels, Avionics are all going to be sold. Organic growth is the term used for buying and selling businesses...not R & D, not investment in the workforce, climbers kill doers, they delegate and manipulate metrics on the rise but add no value. Problem is those that add value work to live and do not live to work...we care, we like family and life away from family. These guys are divorced if anyone was dumb enough to marry them, they seek power and money and lack a true ground to ceiling approach to leadership, they are barely managers...I will be moving on but on my terms not their greedy ones..power to the working person...

The entire Aerospace leadership team needs to step down, they drove us into this mess and as long as they get the bonus money, they don't give a feck.

This march to be a software company is the dumbest thing EVER !!
