Directors and VPs to KEEP their MIP and Bonuses!

"Let 'em eat cake" is the cry of the Honeywell Elite; while the common employee suffers another round of Layoffs followed NEXT WEEK by a FURLOUGH for the ones spared the guillotine.

Thankfully, the top brass have almost made the numbers by hacking and slashing at the heart of Honeywell. They will live on to collect another MIP and Bonus for protecting the Almighty Shareholder. Stock Prices are falsely buoyed by cutting heads to show 'Profitably'. It is almost laughable.

Hey - hyh.

I personally know there are many many VP's with zero direct reports. Individuals in those positions should be among the first to be let go, or at a minimum, de-banded, salaries and MIP reduced, and absorbed into other organizations. They have been riding this horse for far too long.

If i don't get let go I'm going to do as little as possible from here on out. I figure there is no point working any harder than I have to because there is no raise, no bonus, only pay reductions and layoffs. I want to thank timmy "baloney" Mahoney for making my life at work so much easier! It's so much less stressful at work now that I don't concern myself with all your bullshite metrics and the hassle of producing!

Tell me why on other threads that Site Leaders, HOS Managers, Quality Managers, Material Mangers,and Engineer Managers as well a host of other key functional people are being let go (i.e. RIF) and yet Honeywell still has over abundance of Multi-Site Directors, Functional Directors, VPs? Are they going to help out with production at a site? Not if affects their "tee" time....

If you really were ranked a 2 in the 9 block, you may have a case for a lawsuit. I know that HR and lawyers collaborate on the RIF selections and it is unlikely but, even if you don't this really says a lot for how worthless and outdated the HR 9 block rating system actually is. Wonder how many HR weenies are going to be RIFd...

Have to wonder if the stockholders realize what the company's BRASS are doing with their investment. Honeywell is shooting themselves in the foot ! All the good people who are skilled will go elsewhere. You can only threaten peoples livelihood so much before we all jump ship! Procurement Director was caught in the RIF!

So sad...it's sad the company don't take care of whoever is left. I think if layoff is imminent, at least Honeywell could do things a little bit different and less painfull.. it's a shame :(

If only you really knew who was commenting! Just like a lot of the other stuff on here, there is a lot of bull. Yes there are layoffs and RIF's going on but Honeywell is not the first and only company to do this. It happens everyday and at the time it happens...the company doing it is the worst of all times that never ever treated any one good. If it was so bad why are the complainers still here waiting around to see if they're going to get it. Be Thank-full for what you had. Trust me I'm just a pee-on with some common sense.

Honeyhell is going down. With all these people getting shiitcanned, who is going to ship all this product? Let me guess, the people are left? Haha! With morale at an all time low, they're going to have a real hard time making their numbers next quarter, even harder the quarter after, etc. You can only squeeze us so much. You have reached the breaking point Dave and timmy. You are going to have to fire everyone and start over because you have killed the spirit of your "greatest asset".

The game is over. Now it's just a matter of sitting back and watching AERO burn. I give it two years before they shut it or sell it.
