- I have Plenty of free time and freedom in my new position to make posts on this site, as most of you are doing from your PC's at Chevron, only I am free to do it, as I am a supervisor and basically my own boss. Please don't be envious just because I have a better job. You can get one also, no problem if you are valuable and I know very many of you whom I worked with are and could be utilized outside of O&G as I found.

Sh!t, 2gvh, at least you're honest about your situation. I think several of the folks who decided to start some dude businesses are for real. Lots of us have the money to start them up and not necessary be there day-to-day to run them. If cash is a big part of the income, I'm sure most of it will go undeclared and the IRS wouldn't even know. How could they?
There sure are a lot of folks on this forum who claim to be millionaires, owners of multiple businesses pulling in big bucks and not paying taxes. I say BS, too many dreamers and liars who have too much time on their hands. Get a job or at least a hobby and you won't have time to post on this site. As for me, I'm just a buthurt loser with nothing to do but eat, drink, sleep, crap and post on this site. Oh yeah, I'm a multimillionaire too.

Chevron is not going to rebound. One example is the recent two additions to the Board of Directors. Two black women with supposed doctoral degrees, but whose main purpose is is symbolic of its liberalism and the latest social mental games from the left; pushing white guilt and anti-white privilege. The censorship crew on this thread deleted the posts about the Thai Spinners again. So much for freedom of expression. I suppose if anyone comes along and posts a few embarrassing but true things about Chevron, it will also get erased. That's a real shame. Even a site like this is biased.

@JmcV2Tj-uwk, well said. Besides deleting a whole thread means you throw away a lot of useful information. In a layoff board, some are just looking to relax and get entertained. There is nothing wrong with that. We dont live in Iran. So we don't need to be offended about some light hearted jokes about spinners.
@zvd - It's all a matter of perspective. Why would you censor free speech on an anonymous board. Is anyone forcing you to read the contents? Aren't you free to discern when you lose interest and jump to another thread that suits you? Do you have free will? This is America, not Iran. The Thailand thread was definitely a thread that should have been deleted.
I suppose certain amount levity or sense of humor is warranted. But going off into the fantasyland about thai spinners and the like was not probably contributing to the main mission of this site i.e. Helping people with useful information about layoffs. So folks, be decent with your comments. Share information about layoffs, what is going on, what we can do to support each other as chevroids and ex-chevroids.

Dear hew: this is a Chevron Layoff site, not a peverted fantasy site. I am sure you can find a site that meets your peverted needs if you just take the time to look.
