The email did go out. I've seen it. People in the region can take up to 10 days of 'voluntary' furlough between now and the end of the year...
To be fair, people in Europe has always had the option to take unpaid days if they've used their vacation, I've approved days off unpaid in the past.
Most people won't take any days off

Details of "voluntary" ought to be amusing. European labor laws vary by country but involuntary layoffs are a nightmare to HON leadership and HR over there.
