Honeyhell has cut the janitorial staff in the past as a cost saving method. Trash cans were put in the aisle and each employee was expected to empty their own trash as part of 5S. It wasn't that bad of course the restrooms were another issue. Maybe we are spoiled? Tough to focus with all these little distractions.
Happened in Plymouth and then an email went out to employees from the 'great place to work team' about the newly formed garden club where employees could volunteer to fill the planters.

Thought this was a joke. Sadly, I found out this morning it was not. Seriously, the plants are gone too. What a shame........
Are you kidding? Do I understand correctly that the company cut even the plant maintenance, and local employees do it for free now?? That is rediculous if so.
They did this in Plymouth last spring. A group of employees volunteered to plant new and maintain them and it actually looks better than it did when it was contracted out. I hope they get the credit they deserve for it.
