HA HA HA ! What choice do Intel employees have ? One needs to have options to leave.
Most Intel employees have been seat warmers for over decades and not developed any skill sets, are limited to only knowing how to sift data in Excel and produce powerpoint presentations.
As for Intel Directors and managers who do no work ....outside Intel - Directors/Managers are not free loaders, there is actually work required to be completed without delegating every work that comes along. Directors are supposed to lead, Intel Directors can't even formulate a strategy (mine can't even use Microsoft Office based on his attempts in a live meeting and he has been at Intel for last 29 years) without delegating it. Piling useless work on their team to free themselves to enjoy easy life, and Intel paid travels.
Most Intel staff are forced to stay due to their inabilities and being lazy, unskilled, having no value in industry. Intel does whatever they do their own Intel WAY - which then is not surprising why Intel is so wrong in everything they do, produce bad results, is chaotic and must utilize blame fix attitude.
The oldies have been seat warmers and are afraid of not getting hired in their old age, rightly so - what do they have to show for all their years at Intel ? How can you except them to attain a better job in a better company by leaving Intel ?
Intel thinks they are the only WELL PAYING EMPLOYER ha ha , little do these idiots who have only worked in Intel know about great companies or great work environments. There are endless number of companies in Bay Area paying more than Intel's mid-range 6 fig salary.
As for me, I am waiting to complete two years. I don't want to end up 'dead wood' like the Intel employees and will leave at the earliest possible. Counting down the months/days... possibly earlier if they will excuse ..
