That is the word, Band 4/5's will be targeted, going after the $$ who are eligible for bonuses on top of their salaries. That's why the big reorg info/strategy has been slow to come out. Sure there will be Band 3's to some extent. Leadership was asked for a 20% reduction plan early on this year, have a feeling we will end up between 15-20% when it's all said and done.
Most likely RIF some and force others to repost for their own jobs at a reduced band and compensation.
Do you think they will demote us or RID us? Will we have a choice?
Five years ago Corporate HR began a study of "efficiency" in Band 4s. The purpose of the study was to get rid of Band 4's. Sounds like that plan is working.
