@ikv - I think the original article link you posted was just as interesting. Cote talking about how he prefers furloughs vs. layoffs. The last paragraph is particularly telling "...I hope we never have to do them (furloughs) again..." That was in 2013. Three years later the company is doing both, repeatedly.

To me the Bio thing is a farce and they say they don't see your Bio stats sure??? What happen to our privacy??

The health screen and biometric data reporting is optional. And it's your option to pay more if you opt out. I think we are screwed here. You can always say the high deductible is the standard then lower it if you participate in biometric screening. Sounds Like marketing to me
