Furlough was partial, 2 or 3 days per weeks to cover your withe asses. I can't see the benefits you are talking of
Yhea we have laws that protect the employee, but I want you to survive 1 month with Mexican salary...

We have had 3 RIF's Events since the beginning of the year at different working levels, people that started 10 years ago along with the company was affected too, yes we do have "better" labor laws that protect us, but labor rate is lower than the U.S. and at the end Honeywell was the one that came down here we didn't brought it here.... so why to be mad to Mexico?? don't get it...
I'd change Mexico for Honeywell, relax man!

Cost of living in Mexico is 30-40% less than anywhere in the states, thus lower salary.
Yes sir, also consider Mexican salaries to be 25% to 30% of the U.S. salaries
I know for a fact the had a RIF as we lost a couple of talented people. As for working there, I'll pass. They do get more perks from Honeywell but the pluses do not out weigh the minuses.
It is sad that we look down at Mexico, but they have better laws protecting their employees.
LOL man I am in Mexico we got hit by RIF, 50% Furlough that's because of labor laws, Honeywell is as bad as in the U.S. But hey, it is what it is, you should hear about the severance we get! You'd get really mad! But that's all labor laws
