I work at an aerospace site and I can confirm that what is being said by other employees and ex-employees is absolutely true. Used to be a great place to work but now employees are treated as sub-humans. Is this happening across other business units at HON or just at aerospace? I don't see many comments from employees of other SBUs.

Well, since ACS was dissolved back in July, I assume you mean HBT. And, the latest hits are not just for Aero. Rumors abound across HBT, SPS, PMT, and Aero. RIF's for November 1st. Possible Furloughs even for HBT. Possible 10% across-the-board pay cuts. In the summer, they reduced MIP bonuses for most Band 4 and above employees. Elimination of dental benefits.
I am convinced that this is all grooming the company for a merger or takeover before Dave retires. Aggressive cost-cutting, get everyone in the office to look good for potential buyers, motivate remote workers to quit so they can fill up Morris Plains, and the new Atlanta HBT headquarters, ...
I am in PMT- Advanced Materials (SP, Spec Additives and Packaging and Composites) in MP (aka Hell as we call it). It is miserable here. There was a 10% pay reduction here but I am a lower level drone so it did not impact me. Now with the WFH privilege being pulled morale is awful. RIFs and layoffs are generally kept quiet here until you need to contact a person and find out they're gone. Just coasting here until something better comes along. The higher ups have no respect for the employees.
Layoffs at ACS now HBT & SPS both confirmed
AdvanSix, former R&C, is only 12% of PMT. Current PMT consists HPS, which was shuffled from ACS a couple of years ago, UOP, SP, and FP.
The UOP portion of PMT has had a 10% pay reduction most of this year as has have many the of PMT staff. Advansix was only a portion of PMT and the ones I know there are glad to be out of Honeywell. Most in PMT I know feel no job security and I've heard of band 4's being pushed back to 3's.
Is there still PMT? I thought that split off to Advansix.
ACS is awful too. I deal with people in both Video and Access and the morale is horrible all around. Most of the people at our site (Video) just want our severance packages and to be on our way. However, it's hard to leave for another job, because, in the back of your mind you think "What if I leave and then a month later they shut down my site and lay everyone off?". The curse of the golden hand-cuffs. After all of the layoffs and RIFs that have been happening recently, getting let go is a definite possibility. Also, I, for the life me, can't understand why they even keep our site open. My job has gone from engineering to babysitting Indian and Chinese engineers. I'd rater they just take us out of the equation and let them drive the company into the ground themselves. They don't listen to us anyway. If they gave me my severance I'd have a nice window of time to brush up on my coding skills again and get some momentum going for my next job. As it is though, I'm so busy hand-holding people that I have no time to do that. It's kind of a catch 22. I'll tell you one thing though, I will NEVER work for a big company again, at least not one that's even close to as large as Honeywell.
It looks like the latest hits are just for Aero. At least PMT is not affected, not sure about ACS.
