RIF's being issued for the employees not following the WFH policy that started immediately not Oct. 31st.
Yes they want to force you to sit in traffic, fight the crowds and work 8 hours in the office, then they have the balls to tell you to go ahead and work all the OT you want from your house. Guess what, it doesn't work like that and since I'm not being paid to work OT, I'm not doing it. I told my manager that since Honeyhell has made some tough choices about taking money from me, I had to make a tough choice about cancelling my home Internet access. No more working free OT from this guy! I do 8 hours in the office and I'm gone. I'm actually liking the extra few hours in my day, although it would be better if I didn't spend hours sitting on the freeway. Oh well. I'm just happy to do my part for all that face to face collaboration and stuff. It's really productive.
Anyone know the stance on OT from home? I usually come in every day but leave on time to pick up my kids. Any OT I need to do is usually done after supper.
Yes, but they can tell your IP address is not a Honeywell IP.
Everyone moving into an office. That's all I know
@1zqc IT confirmed they are monitoring VPN usage.
Today my boss said to just carry on as we always have, because no one will know. He said if we email him a request for an exemption he will reply with the company's official policy, but if you just work from home he doesn't care.
