Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

First media coverage even remotely suggesting poor management.....

This isn't the big five but it is on Yahoo Finance and better than nothing:

Amazing that finally someone suggests it is odd to have layoffs from process improvement but then to also have profit misses.

Add comments on that page to really get the ball rolling.

In 2013 the Harvard Business Review was slobbering all over Cote's knob (https://hbr.org/2013/06/honeywells-ceo-on-how-he-avoided-layoffs) would love for them to do an analytical follow up on him

It doesnt take a genius or insider info to see that this company is being run by imbeciles. Just take one look at the business strategy and you'll be wondering if a 3rd grader thought of it.

Careful. HON can subpoena yahoo to hand over identifying info in profile, and IP address..... if you are giving out inside info detrimental to the stock price.

A couple of paragraphs from the article:

But how far is too far to get those returns that investors are looking for? Are layoffs and furloughs -- that create more work for employees with no change in pay-- efficiencies only a shareholder can enjoy?

During the second-quarter conference call, following another announcement of layoffs, Cote said the layoffs and furloughs are being "driven by just better and better efficiency within our Aerospace business." Yet, he never went into specifics about what those efficiencies are.
