Constructive dismissal? Every time we turn around we are bleeding more.

Subs the opposite message we were getting as the larger organizations went global and then ultimately nearly wiped out as jobs outsourced or sent to sites over seas. I remember complaining about the Lync system and saying how I wish we could have a dang face to face meeting. The response then was basically learn to deal with it since we are a global company and we have tools to collaborate. So basically HR complained because they have to track people down to lay them off. They can't very well treat them as the professionals they are and call them. Instead is an ambush and shove your arse about the door in minutes like you just stole something. Leadership, and board, congratulations you have perfected the art of talking out of both sides of your mouth!!!! The flexibility of remote working and extra time given will no longer be provided. I will not log on early to or stay late to occomate meetings. AND STOP BOOKING MEETING DURING MY F'N LUNCH!!!

My 'problem' is that half my team is in India- a 13 hour time difference. I am in meetings at midnight sometimes. 8pm, 10 pm etc. I still am in meetings by 6 am the next morning supporting my US and Mexico people. These hours will not be possible if not working from a home office. I live 90-120 minutes away from my Honeywell office and spent many years commuting until my whole team went international and it was not achievable to be at the Honeywell office 24/7.

I never abused the WFH privilege. I worked while sick; routinely put in 10-12 hour days. Any dental or dr schedule was worked around my meeting schedule. That will not be possible now either, as I work too far away from those offices. I will now be taking sick leave, which I have not taken any of for over 8 years.

For most of us WFH employees, this was a benefit to Honeywell- saving them money. Having most of us come in is going to drop significantly productivity.

We live in the Internet age. BIG step backwards, Honeywell.

There is something else going on here. Time will bring it out but I'm afraid it does not bode well for Aero. For most of my 22 years though, it's been a good ride. Just wish I was closer to retirement age. ) :

Is your problem with not working from home travel time? Did you not know where the office was when you said yes to job? Many people travel to work everyday. I have seen a lot of abuse of the WFH policy every Friday, day before holiday weekends, short term turning into years, can't work in office because of health reason flouesent lightes, and many more abuses. This has been a unfair policy and not applied to all. Worked with a person who was denied one day a week WFT because they lived less than a mile from the office.

I have worked a few times from home and found I was more productive at the office. Working at home I had distractions of a much younger wife.

It def does NOT extend family time when you have a 3-4 hour commute every day due to traffic issues. When you have been hardworking WFH for over 8 years it makes zero sense. My family time, as my work

time, just decreased hugely as my commute time increased proportionately. No. Not good. That's "y we all complaint", to quote last post. / :
