Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Collective Bargaining

Collective bargaining will ensure that employees are rewarded when the company does well, that the CEO will not be rewarded on the backs of the workers.

Collective bargaining will allow for a data drive negotiations and drive equal accountability for the health and prosperity of all.

Unions are the primary reason much of Honeywell's manufacturing has left the US. Not that they need any further incentive to move the rest of us to India, China, and Mexico, but unionizing would simply result in an increase in the rate of job flight overseas.

Sorry, I agree with the sentiment, but this isn't the answer either. The real answer is for employees that are unhappy (including myself) to look elsewhere, and leave this once (but no longer) great company.

Collective bargaining will reward seniority, not performance. Treating everyone the same, regardless of performance - that's what unions are all about. And accountability? What have you been smoking?

I am not a union guy by no means but we have to do something to stop this rape of the employees

that is exactly what the unions tell you when they are trying to get your union dues. You have no idea what you are talking about.
