Again. Stop wasting time trying to fight. Start spending time applying for jobs so you can get the hell out. You will expend far less effort and your reward will be a better job.

ok... first test of your resolve. Have a "sick out" at quarter end or month end and don't turn on your phone or lap top, just leave a phone msg. with your manager and HR. This only work if everyone does it. Most of Honeywell Aero is in "At-will" employment states, watch what happens. We will see Temps pour in and you will get fired.

So assuming the poster is correct that Hon in the US is finished, wouldn't it be better to go out fighting than as a pu--y? Tese guys are acting like bullies and will continue to do so until employees stand up to them. In Aerospace we have had he following happen in the last 9 months:

  • Salaries frozen for pension calculation purposes (impacts the older folks )

  • 1 Week furlough last December (2% of your salary in essence)

  • RIF in January

  • 1 Week furlough last June (2% of your salary in essence)

  • RIF in September

  • 1 Week furlough last Month -Sept (2% of your salary in essence)

  • No Merit raises given out

  • Targeted lowering of MIP %s

  • Just announced today that HON will no longer supplement '17 Dental Plan

  • Just announced today that HON will no longer allow any telecommuting

  • I am sure I am missing more but does this sound like a Company that values its workforce?

You decide......

You can't win if you don't fight.

To what point and purpose?? You think Dave would suddenly reverse his position and want all the employees to stay? No. HON in the US is finished. This is the beginning of the end. It's time to leave.
