DEV SHOP coming back ???

Is it possible Hon want's to re-open the DEV Shop ?

Is it probable that Hon is going to hire all new guys to man it ?

The Areo site (~80% Engineering) that I work at has a similar shop (prototype shop) 5 people, all over 50 years old, all over 20 years with the company, all pretty well paid, all very talented and experienced. They do machining, fabrication, assembly and engineering tests and experiments. I would be surprised if that department is NOT shut down. The company can get the metal work done cheaper outside and get the assembly work done by an ISC assembler or tech way cheaper. At least they think they can. Don't expect your development shop to reopen even with people half the age and half the pay as who was there. It ain't gonna happen.
