HON plans to close the defined benefit pension in the UK. Just another reduction in benefits.

I know it is the UK Plan. If they did the same thing here in the US, is the old US plan a "defined benefit pension" ?

In seriousness, sorry to hear that. As I understand it the laws across the pond are more friendly to the worker than here stateside? Has UK had to deal with any furloughs, layoffs or other forced unpaid time off?
