Hi, all, I have been reading all this going on lately, and felt need to share.
While ago, after more than a decade of dedicated work, they told me I wasn't good enough anymore, gave me severance, and let me go. I loved my job and was very dedicated, so it was really hard to contemplate. Was devastated for a month and frankly, if it wasn’t for my family, I think that I would never get up again. And then I decided to fight back, that I have a lot more to give and a lot more to accomplish. So, I started to apply for every company I saw, reformatted my resume completely, and approached to every job opportunity like it was life-or-death boxing mach. And it worked; now I’m employed and happy again. But, I know how it feels to be RIF-ed, so my advice:
Fight back- fight like crazy and with everything in your power. Update your LinkedIn, smile and show everyone that life can’t kick you down.
