Just curious to know as i am keep getting calls from my 1ntel colleagues for "referring his resume to my current company"

people are not happy ? or in fear ?

Jumping may be a case of"out of the frying pan, into the fire".

Hardware, especially, is on a nose-dive for the worker bees involved. Software (with it's higher margins and lower capital costs) won't be far behind. Whether the Bay area looks like HongKong or Calcutta is moot.

But.... Intel is becoming more of a toxic work environment than ever. As the ISP/VSP/ERP clearly teaches us, it's not enough for you to succeed, others in your team must be seen to fail and be thought of as less than by managers.

Cue the internal backstabbing and even worse communication/collaboration as the downward drive continues.
