The way tech is imploding stay til you get severance. Move now and could get nothing at the next companies downsize so jokes on who?
lol ... happy at Intel .....
been there DONE that -- now really enjoying life
It is a blast
If anyone at Intel says they aren't worried about the future they are either already set for retirement or a retard
Jumping may be a case of"out of the frying pan, into the fire".
Hardware, especially, is on a nose-dive for the worker bees involved. Software (with it's higher margins and lower capital costs) won't be far behind. Whether the Bay area looks like HongKong or Calcutta is moot.
But.... Intel is becoming more of a toxic work environment than ever. As the ISP/VSP/ERP clearly teaches us, it's not enough for you to succeed, others in your team must be seen to fail and be thought of as less than by managers.
Cue the internal backstabbing and even worse communication/collaboration as the downward drive continues.
You've obviously never felt what it's like to be retired from there @vty.
Very happy..no better place to be than at Intel..
Mass layoffs no one feels secure but jump ship to another sinking tech ship? Its only a matter of time.
